The 9th annual Rome International Film Festival is this week. The festival will open on Thursday night at 7 pm with the movie American Songwriter. Movies will be shown in 2 hour blocks on Friday and Saturday beginning at 11 am and ending at 11pm each day.
Movies will be shown at the DeSoto Theater and the Rome Area History Museum during the festival. The DeSoto is located at 530 Broad Street in Rome and the museum is located at 350 Broad Street.
Tickets for a single 2 hour block are $6 and $2 for students. Day passes are available for $25 for one day and $50 for both days. Tickets can be purchased at each venue during the festival and online at www.riff.tv
